...one of the last Chesapeake Bay Skipjacks built, and one of less than twenty still sailing, the Ada Fears is a traditional wooden oyster dredger that offers a variety of cruises out of Ridge, Maryland or Solomons Island, Maryland.
Enjoy an intimate, relaxing, sightseeing daysail or sunset sail on the St. Mary's River, Potomac River, Patuxent River or Chesapeake Bay. Observe first-hand the wildlife, lighthouses, watermen, and the beautiful shorelines and waters of Southern Maryland; while learning about the history of the area, skipjacks, oysters and the environment. Or decide to take a sail and stop for lunch or dinner at to one of our preselected restaurants.
The Ada Fears specializes in private charters and offers charter sails for intimate weddings, small parties, or any sailing event for up to six persons.
