Chesapeake Bay Skipjack Ada Fears


Ada Fears is a classic Chesapeake  Bay Skipjack, built on Maryland's Eastern Shore in Oxford, Maryland.

The Skipjack Ada Fears was built in 1968 by Applegarth's Marine Yard in Oxford, Maryland.  She is believed to be the last true skipjack built by this yard. She dredged the Chesapeake Bay in the 1970s  as Lady Agnes.  She was rebuilt and renamed in the 1990s and has been docked for viewing and education in Baltimore, MD, Tuckerton, NJ Seaport, Rock Hall, MD, Chesapeake City, MD and other various locations on the Chesapeake Bay.
